First Beach Day 2009-San Clemente

The first beach weekend of 2009 came and went in the blink of an eye....The weather could not have been better. The funny part is that it was Kayden's birthday weekend and we purposely postponed her bday celebration for early May in hopes of "better" weather. Well, I can tell you it doesnt get much "better" than this.
We frequent Newport and Huntington but occasionally we choose to make the trek down to San Clemente. Kind of a drive but always worth it. Once again, San Clemente did not disappoint. The whole fam spent the day, arriving early for breakfast on the pier. Then, it was off to enjoy a relaxing time as the kids froliched, built sand castles and played on the swing set that was steps away from our towels. We look forward to many more days like these...
