Fiesta Day 2009

Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda puts on an annual event called Fiesta Day. They kids absolutely love it because there are games, yummy food and they are there with their friends and teachers from school. Tommy and Sofia joined the fun as well. What a night it was!

Kaydes Special Day

For Kaydes 4th birthday, Her Nonnie and Grampy planned a "special day" as a princess doing all of her favorite things...
She spent the night for starters and cuddled in between Nonnie and Grampy. After breakfast at Bagel Me (JRob and I joined in on the fun), we all went to Irvine park to see Kaydes ride the trotting horse for the first time. She had a blast...JRob watched his big sis ride that fast horsey and decided he didnt want to even attempt to ride the slow ones...So, sis took JRobs turn on the slow horse as well...Then it was off to see the Hanna Montana movie where she had snacks, popcorn and even her first try at some soda...Nonnie took her to take a little nap then we all met up for dinner that evening! What a special day she enjoyed with her Nonnie and Grampy!

Typical Saturday Morning

Here is a look at a typical Saturday Morning for the JRob boy....
Yep, you guessed it! Line up every ball, no discriminating here-- big, small, blue, orange, soccer, beach, "ba-ket-ball", and then throw in a few other randon toys. Then, sit back and admire your work. After much admiration, pretend to count each and every one, as if to let everyone know whose balls they are! Lastly, REPEAT until distracted by something that looks fun that sister is doing....

Hanna Montana for a day

Kaydes woke up one Wednesday morning and searched for the perfect toy to share. The theme was to bring something yellow. After passing up some "yellow" toys she insisted on wearing her Hanna Montana wig to school that day. She said it is "sort of yellow" being that the wig is blond. I agreed and allowed her to wear her wig proud. Her teacher told me when Kaydes shared the wig she sung a Hanna Montana song to give the full effect!

Happy 4th Birthday Mermaid Kayden!

So, you may be wondering "Didnt Kayden already celebrate her bday?" The answer to that is "YES"! She was super lucky this year b/c not only did she have a princess party at Grammie and Gpa John's house just before her actual 4th bday but mommy and daddy promised her a beach party too! We invited our friends and family to a beach bash in honor of our little Mermaid. And, although we stayed dry(forcast called for rain that day), we managed to bundle up and enjoy the fun games daddy played with all the kiddos.

Tommy's Chuck E. Cheese Party

Cousin Tommy celebrated his 4th bday at Chuck E Cheese this year. Unfortunately, my battery died so I was limited with the pixs I got. Kaydes was in Chuck E. "Heaven" and JRob, well he wasnt too sure about the real Chuck E. but was in 'da zone with the bball shooting game. Happy Birthday T! Thanks for sharing your special day with us!

Mommy and Me Night

Mommy and Me night is an annual event that takes place at Calvary. This year was the first year though that we had both kids in school there, which meant mommy visited two classrooms.
We started in Kaydens room with Mrs. Nicole. We made a cute tile project with both of our handprints on it. Mrs. Nicole read us a story and then we shimmied across the hall to Miss Christis class for a decrotive door hanger with JRobs picture. Kaydes and I ended up doing all the work, as JRob was busy playing and reading books. What a special night I was able to share with my two cherubs!
