Globtrotters

For Christmas this year, we got tickets to take my parents to the Globtrotters. I was such a deprived child growing up that my dad never took me to see these legendary bball players...haha! It was a very entertaining show - both kids really liked it, as they are used to seeing pretty intense bball games where laughter isnt the main focus. They laughed, enjoyed time with Non and Gramps, and of course, begged for cotton candy ... and got it!

FUN DAY!

JRob vs Malakai - March 2010

All the kids made it a tradition to naturally become the "half time" show at all of Ricks home games ( and then some!). Malakai and JRob have a true love for the game, so Rick insisted we set up a one-on-one game during half time of his last home game- his Sophmore Night. Brought the two hoops, set up the court and prepped our mini ballers for their performance. JRob and Malakai were chomping at the bit to get down there and show their stuff. The buzzer rang for half time to begin and they were off. After tip off, the ball exchanged hands a few times before ending up in JRobs hands for a layup. He makes the layup and the crowd erupted. JRobs eyes turned to all these people watching him, those he had no clue were watching he and Malakais every move prior to. This froze our shy little guy. He spent the next few minutes wrapped up between my two legs. I basically rebounded endless balls for Malakai as he ran the court. It took some convincing not to mention JRob has a hard time staying away from anything athletic - definitely is a competitor and not a spectator, but he eventually joined Malakai in this friendly competition.

Audreys Birthday

Kaydes Best Bud celebrated her 5th birthday in February. Her mom and dad always go all out - bouncy house, fun games and ALWAYS a pinata! Kaydes was practically sleepless the days/nights leading up to this fun shin-dig.

Check out how BIG that pinata is!

Christmas Night 2010 - Non and Gramps House

We had such a special Chistmas up in Nor Cal, despite all the hard work, it was well worth all the smiles and laughter. We woke up Christmas morning in the Creek and ended Christmas at my parents in Orange. We left after presents and made it back in less than 6 hours to Non and Gramps house for more time with cousins and family. I thought the drive home would be torture on Christmas day, but instead it was a "break" in such a hectic day and gave us time to really enjoy with one another. The kids rested on the drive home, which was nice considering all the excitement from the night before and waking to find presents left by Santa.

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS 2010!!
