I just LOVE Holidays, but what I LOVE even more is getting to spend it with my family. Now, being a mommy of two, makes me appreciate the little things. I had two sweet lil elves help me decorate the tree this year. We had such a great time sharing this together....

So much to be thankful for!
We enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving Day with our family....It was a warm day so it made for our tradition of eating turkey dinner out on my parents patio that much more enjoyable. This year my Grandma (who , mind you, is 91 yrs old!) made 2 pilgrim outfits and 2 indian outfits and wrote a mini-script for the kids to perform a little skit for the family on this Thankful Day!
It was quite a treat to see Tommy and Kayden (who memorized their lines) along with JRob ,(Sofi wasnt having it the first time around--but eventually performed after it was all said and done) have a decent understanding as to the meaning of Thanksgiving.
the script went a little something like this....
Pilgrim Girl: Thanks for helping plant our crops, we have lots of pumpkins this year.
Indian Boy: And we have lots of corn this year.
Pilgrim Girl: Can you share dinner with us? We can give thanks to God for our good crops.
Indian Boy: Yes, we will call it our Thanksgiving dinner!
All Pilgrims and Indians: Happy Thanksgiving!

In early November, Ricks team played in a tourny in S.D. The kids and I packed up and headed south to meet up with Grammie who was visiting her sister in Del Mar. We spent time hanging at Grammie Barbs. Ricks team made it to the championship game of the tourny so we hung out Sunday - after picking up my Grandma from the Solano Beach train station. We ventured down to this awesome park, right on the beach! It was a BEAUTIFUL day and we enjoyed the nice weather and stunning scenery as the kids played around.
Kaydes Chapel Performance 2009
Kaydes Pre-K class finally had the stage...It was their turn to perform their dance/song and bible story in fronto fo all the teachers, students and parents. If you havent already seen the pics from JRobs performance, you will have to visit this one as well. Two completely different personalities on display here. Gotta love the Kayden - Pie! She was so adorable and just rocked the house!!!
Way to go Kaydes!
